Charles “Charlie” Daniels Sr., 81, joined our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ January 7, 2022.

Born in Roswell, NM to George and Margaree Daniels, who from a young age taught the love of the Lord to Charlie. Their faith and dedication to the Church shaped Charlie into a dedicated servant of the Lord that would be the driving force of his life.

Charlie was a dedicated public servant with a deep commitment to serve and protect his community. As a Fire Fighter, Police Officer, Special Agent for the State of New Mexico and finally a Firearms Instructor with Homeland Security, Charlie was a faithful and fierce protector all his life.

Of all the titles Charlie held, his favorite titles were that of Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-grandfather, Cousin, and Uncle. There was no father greater than Charlie, he loved his children with an unwavering dedication. Each of his children were his pride and joy, he was so proud of them and their accomplishments. When speaking of his children, his hopes were that they know Jesus Christ, for them to be healthy and to find soulmates to have a blessed life with. When his children married, Charlie deeply loved his son and daughter in-laws as his own flesh and blood. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his buddies, and his legacy will live on through them.

As an only child, Charlie was honored and thankful for the loving relationships he had with his cousins. The sibling like bond he shared with all of them was a lifelong joy. Everyone Charlie knew was a brother or sister of his in Christ and he held each on of them dearly in his heart.
