Jessie Shaw, age 91, of Roswell, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m., September 28, 2017, at Highland Baptist Church in Roswell, NM. Pastor Charles E. Gossage of Highland Baptist Church will be officiating. Graveside services will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock, Texas.
Jessie was born August 9, 1926 to G.B. Mosley and Mary Wellman Mosley in Dahomey, Mississippi. She married the love of her life, Ernie W. Shaw, May 26, 1952 in Lubbock, Texas. She was a loving wife and mother. She was an active member at Highland Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernie W. Shaw; her son Marshall M. Shaw; three brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by her nephew John Frazier of Baton Rouge, LA.
